Official Volunteer Roles
These opportunities generally require 5-10 hours of volunteer work minimum per month and a longer-term commitment to joining our team, but you would be added to our website as a volunteer staff member and can list us on your resume or LinkedIn. Most of these roles can also be done remotely, whenever you have time.
Social Media Contributor/Coordinator - we are specifically looking for someone with experience making engaging video content
Blog Manager - we are looking for someone with strong writing skills to manage our blog
Fundraising Coordinator - If you have experience with fundraising or grant writing, we are looking for assistance with raising money and helping plan our Birthday Party Fundraiser event
South Side Cleanup Captains - We are looking for litter cleanup leaders who specifically live on the South Side. This role would be through our Cleanup Club Chicago program, and would require in-person event attendance.
Other Volunteering Opportunities
These opportunities are almost always in-person events and last for a few hours at a time. We generally need people to staff our table at various environmental events, and would add you to a mailing list that we send out whenever we have a new opportunity.
