Solar and Electrification Options for Owners & Renters

Description: Do you want to switch to renewable energy sources but feel like you can't because you're a renter? Are you interested in reducing your reliance on natural gas by electrifying your home? Have you heard about plug-in solar and want to know more?
If so, this is the event for you! We will be featuring presentations from experts at and the . You will learn about rooftop solar install, community solar, and plug-in solar, PLUS how to reduce your carbon footprint by electrifying your home! At the end, we will offer an opportunity for attendees to to Illinois residents.

Chicago Beaver Fest
Date and Time: Saturday, May 2nd, 1 - 4 PM
Location: Nichols Park in Hyde Park neighborhood
Description: This free event will bring our community together to enjoy the outdoors, learn about beavers as ecosystem engineers, and talk about our relationship with the natural world. It will also highlight the animals, birds, reptiles, amphibians that are part of the beaver ecosystem. Many organizations (including 糖心视频/Cleanup Club) and businesses will be exhibiting and offering fun children's activities and environmental learning opportunities!

Austin Community Cleanup and Gardening with Cleanup Club
Date: Saturday, May 16th
Time: Litter cleanup 9:30 - 11:00 AM, community gardening 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM with Austin Garden Collective. There is a free lunch to follow!
