Cleanup Collaborations

Thank you for your interest in collaborating on a group cleanup!  Please read our parameters for collaborating on cleanups and fill out the form if your proposed cleanup meets the criteria.  

Cleanup Club Collaboration Requirements:

  • We must have at least 4 weeks notice to coordinate group cleanups.

  • Cleanups occur from March - November.

  • Weekend cleanups must be between 9 AM and 7 PM. Weekday cleanups are also available, but subject to captain availability.

  • We offer the ability to sponsor a public cleanup open to all members OR have us coordinate a private cleanup for your organization. Please visit our sponsorship page if you are interested in this option.

  • Children must be 8 years or older to participate in group cleanups, and any minors (ages 8-17) must be accompanied by a supervising adult during group cleanups.

  • We recommend utilizing Friends of the Chicago River's  if you are looking for supplies only.
